However, they instead decided to take the idol group route. It took nearly three years for BTS to form. But in the end, the result is worth the wait! Here are four things to know about each member of the group! We hope you enjoy them! Here are some facts about BTS:
RM
Although the group has many members, he is arguably the most versatile and creative. If he were absent, the BTS sound would be quite different. Below are some of his accomplishments and talents.
RM is a rapper and singer under the Big Hit Music label. He was born in Seoul, but moved to Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, when he was four. Before joining the group, he performed in underground clubs and performed for various groups before breaking onto the scene.
Originally from South Korea, he learned English from sitcoms like Friends. Today, he is the main rapper and songwriter in BTS, adding his own creative signature to their songs. As the group’s leader, he is a role model for fans worldwide. Aside from being an outstanding rapper, he is also a talented singer. His most famous song, “Serendipity,” was a collaboration with his brother Jimin.
V
One of the most popular members of the K-pop boy band BTS is V. While his personality is largely unknown, fans can tell that he is mysterious and possesses a high level of tension. Here are a few facts about V, his style, and his personality. All of them will make you want to follow his career! Continue reading to learn more about V in BTS!
One of the most popular members of BTS, V, is single and a huge fan of British actress Kaya Scodelario. He also likes girls with long hair and oversized shirts.
Born in Daegu, South Korea, V has an impressive background in music. He co-wrote several tracks on his EP and even co-wrote the lyrics of his own song! In addition to his musical talents, V has dabbled in acting. His debut in a Korean-drama was in 2016, where he played a young warrior in the Silla-era. This led to a huge surge in his popularity as an actor.
Jungkook
Fans have been wondering if Jungkook is a real member of BTS, and the answer is probably yes. However, a lot of people don’t know the details of the BTS member’s health. This may have something to do with his previous role in the group and how he ended up as a member.
The youngest member of BTS, Jungkook is from Busan, South Korea. He joined BTS in 2013 and debuted with ‘2 Cool 4 Skool.’ The group then went on to produce numerous hit songs, including ‘The Way I Want It’ and ‘Tell Me’.
The teacher then blamed Jungkook, and he went home. However, Jungkook blamed himself and grew increasingly distant from his group. Although he’s now back with the group, his relationship with his former group members has deteriorated. While he’s not yet ready to take on the challenges of a solo career, he has a strong resiliency and is a great asset to the group.
Jimin
It was only in 2016 that the relationship between BTS members Jeongyeon and Jimin first gained attention. The former seemed unimpressed upon seeing the latter during a performance on the Korean show Music Core by MBC. Soon after, Riri Nano collated videos of the two and rumors started to circulate. Although the two seemed to be on friendly terms, fans believed that they were not really in a relationship. But, at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards, rumors of a romance arose.
In addition to being a member of the boy group BTS, Jimin is also an active dancer. He was once the only member of the group to have abs and proudly showed them off on stage. However, this doesn’t seem to bother him. He feels happy when he annoys J-Hope. While some members may think he’s too clingy and grumpy, this is simply not the case.
During the Wings tour of 2014, Jimin and fellow member Jung Kook worked on a song together. The Korean version of Justin Bieber’s “Mistletoe” was titled “Christmas Day” and Jimin wrote the lyrics. The two later collaborated on another song, “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” In the solo version, Jung Kook released it on February, while Jimin and Jung Kook worked on a duet for BTS fans during the group’s fourth anniversary celebration.
RM’s rapping style
Rapping is a fundamental part of Nam-joon’s life, and he started rapping at a young age. He first gained recognition as part of the boy band DaeNamHyup, and then in 2010 became a member of the wildly popular BTS group. While BTS began as a pop group, Nam-joon refused to forget his hip-hop roots, releasing a mixtape titled RM. RM’s rapping style resembles that of Lil Wayne’s neo-soul song ‘No Ceilings.’
RM stands out as BTS’ leader, as he has accomplished a lot. His many incredible feats have garnered him praise from both fans and the international press. Most notable, he has given an inspiring speech at the United Nations about self-love, which earned him the nickname ‘president’. His intelligence is incredible, as he scored in the top 1.3% of South Korea’s university entrance exams. He learnt English by watching Friends, and has a 148 IQ.
While rapping was an important part of RM’s life, he was an underground rapper before joining the group. After becoming a member of the group, RM released his first solo mixtape in 2015.
ARMY’s organization
The ARMY is organized into three main units: divisions and corps. A division is composed of two to three brigade-sized elements and is commanded by a major general and two brigadier generals. Divisions and corps have different missions and may combine to form a larger army. A division is a unit capable of major tactical operations. Each division commands a corps, which can be composed of two or more corps.
The ARMY’s organization has changed dramatically throughout the years. As technology advanced and the threat of a potential enemy increased, the Army’s divisions changed to be more modular. Eventually, the organizational composition of the division changed from square to triangular to pentomic.
Bit Hit Entertainment’s management of BTS
Big Hit Entertainment (BHE) has invested 63 million won in YG Entertainment, the company that owns mega-star group BTS. Meanwhile, YG and BHE are strengthening their fan community platforms with Naver, a South Korean media giant. In addition to investing 354.8 billion won in beNX, Naver will acquire the company’s V LIVE division, which is responsible for the BTS fan community.
Big Hit has also made strides in protecting the artists from cyberbullying and other threats. Its proactive measures were previously unheard of in K-Pop. The company has since become a benchmark for many companies.
BTS’s name change is not yet official, but it is a big move for the company. Big Hit’s management team has already registered the new name with Korean regulatory authorities. In the meantime, fans should watch for future updates.
